Matthew Kassnove, DPM, is a respected podiatrist with over 15 years of experience in the treatment of all conditions of the lower extremities. He currently provides excellent and dedicated care to his patients at Kalmar Family Podiatry in Huntington, New York.
Dr. Kassnove earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City. He stayed in New York City for his residency training, which he completed in podiatric medicine and diabetic feet at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn and in forefoot surgery at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and New York University’s Downtown Hospital in Manhattan. He also has specialized training in pediatric foot deformities and sports medicine and enjoys affiliations with Brookhaven Hospital in Patchogue and Northwell Health Syosset Hospital in Syosset, both in New York.
Dr. Kassnove is very active in his field, He is currently the president of the Suffolk, New York, division of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and has served as the Suffolk County delegate at the New York State Podiatric Medical Association’s annual House of Delegates since 2007. He’s also a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York. With reverence for his expertise in foot and ankle treatments, his peers in the Suffolk County Podiatric Medical Association recognized him as Podiatrist of the Year in 2011.
Outside of work, Dr. Kassnove enjoys traveling all over Long Island to coach his three sons in youth sports.
